After police made a breakthrough in the killing of United Healthcare CEO, puzzling videos were posted online seemingly appearing to be linked to suspect Luigi Mangione.

December 10, 2024– Alleged videos posted online were initially linked to Luigi Mangione, a major suspect in the murder of United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson. These videos were deemed “cryptic” as one featured a supposed silent video with a countdown while the other was scheduled to go live this past week but had the account suspended by YouTube before it could do so.

There is no evidence to support claims that this YouTube account/videos belonged to Mangione.

Luigi Mangione YouTube Video

Apparently, YouTube suspended an account earlier this week for violating its “impersonation” policy, which prohibits content designed to impersonate others, a company spokesperson told Newsweek via email. The company also removed three other channels linked to the suspect, citing its Creator Responsibility Guidelines. These channels had allegedly been inactive for over seven months.

In the 84-second, silent video posted by the account @PepMangione, the caption read, “If you see this, I’m already under arrest.” The account’s handle reportedly matched other social media profiles belonging to Mangione, who was arrested recently. Mangione has been charged with murder following his arrest.

The first video featured a countdown, with the phrase “Soon…” A second caption followed with, “All is scheduled, be patient. Bye for now.” A second video was supposedly set to air at 6:45 p.m. EST this past Monday, but YouTube reportedly suspended the account before the stream began.

As mentioned in this article by Global News, following the harrowing footage of the United Healthcare CEO being gunned down and killed outside a Manhattan hotel, Mangione was arrested by police after a McDonald’s employee supposedly recognized him. Allegedly, Mangione had “a black 3D-printed pistol and a black silencer,” on him when he was arrested as outlined on CNN. It is alleged that the shooting was targeted, premeditated, and preplanned as outlined in this NBC Article.

However, the interesting thing about the alleged video was that it supposedly had a code on it. Once people plugged the alleged code into a program to seemingly decode the numbers, it claimed to read: “The truth will set me free.”

Luigi Mangione Twitter

This news about the alleged YouTube video being decoded also follows claims made about his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Luigi pokemon Bible

According to TikToker @munchy_monk, Mangione’s alleged X-header features a Pokemon character (Breloom) whose number in the Pokedex base is #286. As one X user (@_foxygrandpa_) reportedly pointed out, Proverbs 28:6 in the Bible, reads: “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways.”

This has been going viral on social media because it caused speculation as people started relating this Proverbs verse to his alleged recent actions against the United Healthcare CEO.

Luigi’s Manifesto

Claims of Mangione’s manifesto have also gone viral online, in which it reportedly detailed personal struggles Mangione’s family faced with United Healthcare. However, there is no evidence to back up claims of this manifesto as it has been difficult for users to locate online.
