The party continues long after the celebs have left the Met Gala steps. Most of the guests will quickly change after the celebrity-studded meal before leaving for one of the evening’s several after-parties.

While the majority of attendees choose to dress up a bit for the main event, which this year honoured the late, legendary Karl Lagerfeld, they usually change into something cosier and more appropriate for the dance floor for the celebrations that follow the Met Gala.
