Fans can prepare to see Michael B. Jordan in a remake of the 1968 classic, “The Thomas Crown Affair.”
September 11, 2024- Actor Michael B. Jordan has just signed to direct and star in a remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair” for Amazon MGM Studios, according to an exclusive from DEADLINE.

Jordan’s reboot of the film will be the story’s third take, with the original being released in 1968, followed by Pierce Brosnan’s version in 1999.
According to DEADLINE, Jordan has been developing the film for some time, and was ready to get back in the directing chair following his directorial debut of “Creed III.”
It is also official that Alan Trustman, who wrote the original 1968 film, will serve as an executive producer.
Creed III
“Creed III,” who also starred Jonathon Majors and Tessa Thompson, was a box office hit and set the “Rocky” franchise record with a $58 million debut, according to Variety.

In November of 2023, The Economic Times gained confirmation that Creed 4 is in the works and will eventually be released.
Jordan is also starring in an upcoming Ryan Coogler film that is currently untitled, but it is set to be a gothic supernatural horror film that also features Hailee Steinfeld.

Jordan and Lori Harvey, daughter of Steve Harvey, broke up in June of 2022 after a year and a half of dating.
