During the preliminary hearing, the audience heard more about the shooting which occurred outside his home earlier this year. A witness in court recently claimed that in March, she was outside Williams’ home, in which Williams allegedly went inside and grabbed a gun.
He was set to play at EMmphis University until he was arrested on felony gun charges.
The sheriff’s department allegedly found several weapons inside Williams’ home 2 weeks after the shooting. A detective testified he found a handgun inside Williams’ nightstand with a loaded magazine next to it. However, he couldn’t find the alleged gun used in the shooting.
Williams pleaded not guilty to all charges.
