YouTube star MrBeast and Amazon face a lawsuit from contestants of the “Beast Games.”
September 18, 2024- YouTube’s most popular content creator MrBeast and Amazon are currently being sued by contestants of the “Beast Games” competition show.

MrBeast and Amazon Sued By Beast Games Contestants
According to Variety, the reality show has been accused of mistreatment, sexual harassment, and other issues, and the lawsuit was submitted on Monday, Sept. 16th in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The claims say that the contestants in “Beast Games” were treated poorly and neglected as they competed for a $5 million prize and are asking Amazon and MrBeast to pay for the unpaid wages, expenses, and punitive damages.
Amazon and MrBeast are also being accused of failing to protect the contestants from sexual harassment and creating emotionally stressful conditions for the contestants.
The defendants have not made any official statements since the lawsuit launched.

Back in March, Amazon Prime Video announced that “Beast Games” would be released on their platform.

“BEAST GAMES, a new game show with $5 million cash payout, is coming to Prime Video,” Amazon wrote on X.
According to The New York Times, competitors ate, slept and lived inside the stadium while competing in challenges like moving heavy objects and an extreme game of capture the flag.
The first round of the show was filmed in Las Vegas in July, followed by the second round being shot in Toronto in August.
How Did MrBeast Get Famous?
According to Content Whale, the YouTuber first gained recognition in 2012 when he started his channel and focused his content on video game footage and completing niche challenges.
