What We Know About Netflix’s ‘Apple Cider Vinegar’

Taking inspiration from “The Woman Who Fooled the World” by Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano, ‘Apple Cider Vinegar’ follows social media influencer Belle who goes to great lengths to advance her career. During her journey, Belle misleads the world with tall tales of miracle remedies for deadly diseases, showing a dark side to social media. During the six-episode series, Belle builds her brand, tricking people into believing she survived cancer using a healthy diet and lifestyle. But the truth is, she did not survive cancer . . . she simply never had it.

‘The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart’ star Alycia Debnam-Carey plays Belle’s counterpart Milla Blake, another social media influencer who promotes food’s cancer-healing capabilities on her platform. Aisha Dee, who starred in ‘The Bold Type’, plays Milla’s friend who aids Belle with her business.

‘Apple Cider Vinegar’ premiers on February 6, so don’t forget to add it to your 2025 watchlist!
