North West Album Elementary School Dropout

Kim Kardashian and Ye West’s—formerly known as Kanye West—daughter, North, announced on Sunday that she is making an album. The album, titled Elementary School Dropout, is the debut album for 10-year-old North West.

The news follows North’s recording debut on her father’s album, created jointly with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures Vol.1. North is featured in the song and music video for “Talking.”

As reported in a related article, during a listening event for Ye’s newest album, Vultures 2, North joined her father to announce, “I’ve been working on an album” to which the audience cheered.

North West Dropout Controversy

Some online are concerned that the title means the 10-year-old actually dropped out of school. However, the album title pays homage to Ye’s debut album, The College Dropout.

Neither an album release date nor a track listing have been announced.

North is the oldest child of reality star Kim Kardashian, 43, and Ye, 46. She has three younger siblings Saint, Psalm, and Chicago.
