Co-founders Natalie and Shadi were just young university students when they created their online clothing label Meshki and became fashion entrepreneurs. The girls got their start by channeling their inspiration out onto Instagram and they gained a steady following of women who were drawn to their unique aesthetic.

The name “Meshki” pays homage to the girl’s Persian heritage and translates to the word “black” in Farsi. It’s about the way one feels when wearing the colour black.
