We recently acquired the Genesis II EX-335 Smart Grill and couldn’t be happier with the functionality of it and how easy it makes it to grill even when the weather is not ideal.
Despite living in Toronto, in my house, we try to bbq as often we can, even when the temperature begins to drop. We recently acquired the Genesis II EX-335 Smart Grill and couldn’t be happier with the functionality of it and how easy it makes it to grill even when you have multiple things going on at the same time. Thanks to the smart grilling technology integrated into it, we’re able to get it going and then go back inside without worry as we’re constantly updated about the progress on our phones. As an added bonus we’re also loving the aesthetic of this grill and how it seamlessly integrates into our patio design.
Here are four of my favourite features of the Genesis II EX-335 Smart Grill:
Digital, Real-Time Updates
I really don’t know how we lived without this feature before! Especially me; as I’m easily distracted by things indoors and have little interest in staying outdoors when it’s chilly to monitor the grill. Now I don’t have to, as Weber’s smart technology gives me all the updates I need to grill to perfection via my phone. The app provides you with a real-time food temperature and readiness countdown so that you can take the guess work out of it. It also alerts you when your food has reached its desired doneness, which has been a game-changer for me so long gone are the days of overcooking or undercooking your meat or veggies.
The Sear Zone
The sear zone on this grill has also been a welcome addition to both my partner and I. Who doesn’t love a nice sear to their meat and veggies? Well, now you don’t have to get so creative about achieving it because this grill completely simplifies the process. The sear zone provides intense, high heat on the cooking grate, which adds sear marks to your food in no time!
The High Performance Grilling System
Not only is this grill easy to use but it’s a high performance system making my grill master ambitions that much easier. The grill has an infinity ignition, high performance burners, stainless steel flavourizer bars and a grease management system to simply the grilling process for you, without jeopardizing the results.
Easy to Use and Move Around
We got the propane tank version of this grill and I love how easy it is to move. Living in a townhome, we wanted to maximize the patio space. So while not in use, we have it tucked away along the patio fence and when we’re using it, we simply move it to a more open area on the patio. It’s a great option to have when you’re maximizing the functionality of your space. As someone who never used to BBQ and found grills intimidating, this is now a thing of the past thanks to the Genesis II EX-335 Smart Grill.
