It’s official. Annie Murphy and Crispy Minis are partnering up again for the next “Crispy” chapter.
That’s Crispy.
Wait, what does it mean to be “crispy?”
Well, it’s a vibe.
To be frank, it’s a special feeling you get when you just enjoy yourself- or when you enjoy Crispy Minis snacks.
If you’re anything like me, Crispy Minis are a go-to. The popular brown rice cakes are crunchy, gluten-free, and always popped (never fried) so they’re delicious and super satisfying. Plus, they came in incredibly savory -and sweet- flavor profiles such as; Cheddar, Ketchup, Crunchy Dill, and Cocoa Crunch. If you’re a Crispy Minis fan, there’s really something for everyone, and at 70 calories per serving or less, they’re a must-have (any time of day).
Last year, Annie discussed the joys of snacking and coined the catchphrase, “That’s Crispy.” In addition to encouraging Canadians to embrace their ‘crispy’ side, Annie and Crispy Minis are back together again to celebrate the next “crispy” chapter by encouraging Canadians to liberate their crispy side. Just as Crispy Minis snacks can simultaneously be gluten-free and ultra delicious – popped, never fried, yet so satisfying – you, too, shouldn’t have to choose between this or that.
Just like Crispy Minis- and Annie- you can do both.
Annie Murphy Crispy Minis: The Next “Crispy” Chapter
HOLR sat down with Annie- who is the true embodiment of “That’s Crispy”- to get the inside scoop on Year 2 of “The Crispy” campaign and what we can expect when it comes to helping Canadians liberate their “Crispy side.”
“I had so much fun on the campaign last year,” started Annie. “It was just light and silly and we got this great group of people back for this session. This year we’re talking a little bit more about duality and how we can do our best to achieve it all and not just have one thing.”
Sort of like Crispy Minis, right?
Right.
According to Annie, “Crispy Minis are healthy and good for you but they’re also absolutely delicious.” She continued on, “We can have two things that seem kind of opposing but everything can exist at the same time.”
This year, since Crispy Minis is showing Canadians that we shouldn’t have to choose between this or that, we asked Annie if she could talk us through what this means from a brand perspective. “Well, talking Crispy Minis-specifics, they’re gluten-free, popped (never fried), 70 calories or less per serving,” stated Annie. “But then they’re doused in all of these delicious flavors to make a healthy little snack- even though it feels like you’re indulging (naughtily).”
When asked if the catchphrase “That’s Crispy” was Annie’s go-to for Year 2, she confirmed our suspicions. “We’re kind of sticking with ‘That’s Crispy’ – it felt good,” she stated.
So, what’s Annie’s favorite thing about Crispy Minis? “I mean, the ease of which they can be snacked upon,” she claimed.
Of course, we would definitely have to agree!
“And we have a whole spectrum of flavors- both deliciously savory and deliciously sweet,” she added. “It’s kind of like a breakfast-to-dinner situation- you can have a day-long Crispy Minis journey.”
We saved the hardest question for last when we inquired about Annie’s favorite flavor of Crispy Minis. “I love a Dill.”
Annie Murphy Crispy Minis: Headed To The Moon!
To make the next “Crispy” chapter that much more exhilarating, Annie is doing something no actress has done before. She’s headed to the moon! Annie is encouraging Canadians to embrace their ‘crispy’ side and celebrate that they can be this and that – just like how she can be an (award-winning) actress and, now, an astronaut.
In fact, Annie underwent necessary tests and training for space travel- those of which included an anti-gravity test and a dramatic slo-mo walk.
If anyone can do it all, it’s Annie.
Now, That’s Crispy.
