Tina Turner Son Ike Jr. Arrested – Crack Cocaine Possession Charges

On June 21st, People confirmed that Ike Turner Jr., son of singer Tina Turner, was arrested in May for crack cocaine possession. According to the same source, 18 days before his mother, Tina Turner, died at 83, Ike Jr. was sentenced to jail.
The outlet mentions that the singer, 64, was pulled over at a traffic light in Texas, leading to a thorough vehicle investigation. The police found approx. 1.7 grams of crack cocaine and 0.7 grams of methamphetamine in Ike’s possession. Additionally, the police noted that the singer had tried to consume the substances.
“He tried to eat the drugs before the officers could seize them from him,” Capt. Q.T. Arendell stated.
Jessica Salinas-Esquivel, who was in the car at the time of the investigation, is also charged with methamphetamine possession.
