The sleek, technology-driven restaurant has also added several new items to its fulsome menu. Guests can now explore new dishes, including sushi sets that feature a selection of guest favorites and new creations like the Kaisen Chirashi.
“As the proud pioneers of Aburi cuisine in Canada, we strive for constant innovation and TORA’s concept is a perfect example of that,” said Kazuki Uchigoshi, Head of Menu Development, Aburi Restaurants Canada. “Our first year of business guided the direction of our new menu items. We created sushi sets that include popular items like our signature Aburi Oshi, and were inspired to introduce brand new dishes so our guests could discover new favorites.”
While having a strong first year in Toronto, Aburi Restaurants Canada took a unique concept global. In the summer of 2019, with the opening of TORA Futako Tamagawa. The Tokyo location further establishes Aburi Restaurants Canada’s commitment to raising its profile across the world. The opening abroad provides more people with the opportunity to experience TORA’s innovation and flavour. TORA is open daily for lunch and dinner, proudly serving Aburi Restaurants Canada’s signature flame-seared Aburi sushi. Guests are seated on a first-come, first-serve basis, as reservations are not available.
