Have you noticed that your Twitter is showing you Elon Musk’s tweets? Us too…

Have you started to notice that your Twitter’s “For You” features tweets and replies to tweets from Elon Musk? You’re not the only one, as mentioned here.

Elon Musk Twitter

Apparently, people’s Twitter feeds have recently been flooded with tweets and replies from Elon Musk, who notably acquired the platform in late 2022 through a recent $44 billion deal, as noted here.

According to this latest article from The Verge, Musk reportedly adjusted the algorithm by showing users his tweets first. His Super Bowl tweet allegedly “did worse than President Biden’s” which prompted Musk to make some major changes.

Musk reportedly previously complained about the visibility of his tweets a few days ago and supposedly fired an engineer over the alleged issues regarding his engagement numbers. According to a recent tweet by the Twitter owner (featured below), Musk argued his position that “Fanout service for Following feed was getting overloaded when I tweeted, resulting in up to 95% of my tweets not getting delivered at all.” Apparently, engineers suggested Musk’s reach might’ve been lower than expected due to the possibility that he had been blocked and muted by so many users recently as noted here.

In an excerpt from this article, on Monday, Musk’s issues were reportedly addressed and “fixed” when “Twitter deployed a code to automatically “greenlight” all of Musk’s tweets.” This means that Musk’s posts will “bypass Twitter’s filters designed to show people the best content possible.”
