The video shows tap dancers from New York City-based dance troupe Dorrance Dance reportedly doing their rendition of “The Nutcracker Suite.” However, the video has since been slammed by internet users since its release, because people are drawing comparisons to the Capitol in The Hunger Games fictional series.
As the hosts in the TikTok video discuss, some people have drawn comparisons to The Hunger Games by claiming that it has a similar “aesthetic.”
