Dua Lipa made it to the news again when she was spotted holding hands with a man after leaving Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week. HOLR is breaking down who the man could be.

Is it Romain Gavras?

Multiple sources, including Just Jared, have reported that the man holding hand with Dua Lipa is allegedly 41-year-old Romain Gavras, a music video director.

Romain Gavras is the same music video director who became the object of controversy back in 2010 after he directed a music video for the British rapper M.IA. Titled “Born Free”, the nine-minute music video portrayed military brutality inspired by real-life events surrounding the killing of Tamil males by the Sri Lankan military. Other famous music videos Gavras have directed included Kanye West‘s “No Church in the Wild” and M.I.A’s other music video, “Bad Girls”.

Is Dua Lipa dating Romain Gavras?

Way before the February 28th sighting of her holding hand with the French music video director and filmmaker, Dua Lipa dated and broke up with Gigi and Bella Hadid’s little brother, Anwar Hadid in December 2021. Trevor Noah and Jack Harlow were also among a few other men she had previously been connected with. The rumors about Dua Lipa possibly dating Romain Gavras- British singer Rita Ora’s ex-boyfriend- started when the pair were seen leaving a London BAFTA afterparty together, yet neither of the two has confirmed nor denied that anything romantic is going on.
