Zendaya has wowed the crowd with her gorgeous look during the 54th NAACP Image Awards last night! After skipping the Golden Globes and the Choice Critics Awards, the young actress did not disappoint fans on her return to the red carpet.

Zendaya Dress

Zendaya, who was nominated to win the Entertainer of the Year category, turned heads in Los Angeles, California. She arrived wearing a lime green and black strapless gown with a plunging neckline, a ruffled mermaid-cut skirt, and a high slit that shows off her long legs. The dress, which was a part of the 2002 Versace spring/summer collection, goes well with her hairstyle, a voluminous chocolate brown bob in soft side-swept waves. She completed her stunning look with brown liner and matte-hued lipstick in a nude shade, which complemented her neutral makeup palette. Zendaya has also shared in her Instagram post that the green and black dress was inspired by Shego, a villainess from the Disney Channel’s cartoon show Kim Possible. Zendaya worked with her longtime stylist, Law Roach, and makeup artist Raoul to orchestrate her whole look.

Zendaya Second Dress

Later on in the evening, Zendaya changed into a silky white bra top and a matching column skirt, both featuring starburst cutouts designed by Miuccia Prada. Unlike her appearance in the green and black dress, this time Zendaya did not wear any jewelry or accessory. Her stylist’s decision to have her go without jewelry is a deliberate one–the absence of jewelry allows the white dress to shine on its own. In lieu of jewelry, Zendaya paired the white dress with white stiletto heels to create a monochrome look.
