Mother’s Day continuously reigns supreme in making some of the biggest bustle in the big city.

If adorning Mother with florals, gifts, and love is all of your focus this weekend, we have you covered so you can optimize time for moments of slowness and intention this weekend.

Behold the list of off-the-beat moments meant to be enjoyed with the special women and caretakers in your life in Toronto and nearby.

The Broadview Hotel

Enjoy two days at one of east ends most-loved getaways for travelers and locals to unwind, dine, and celebrate.  On May 9th and May 10th from 9 pm – 3 pm Beaux Florals will be hosting a live pop-up floral market that will transform the Bistro + Bar (pre-order at Beaux Florals online!), and an evening on The Rooftop on May 10th, including complimentary prosecco and dessert, and a live performance by the Stuart Brignell Organ Trio from 6 – 9 pm.

Prince Edward County Art Galleries

While overnight stays are always a memorable time in Prince Edward County, we can’t discount all it has to offer for a day-trip out of the city. One special way to spend a day is an customized art crawl as the quaint beach and wine town is filmed with local antique shops, art galleries, and marketplace shops to find anything from special bouquets, locally-sourced goods and an array of coffee shops along the vibrant strip close to the beach.

Toronto Botanical Gardens

Toronto’s own personal oasis is a dreamy walkthrough on any day. If you didn’t grab a ticket for this years sold out Succulent workshop, the most intentional paper quilling workshop highlighting lily of the valley still has limited spots available.

Plan out your photos for this expansive dream garden with many special touchpoints you’ll want to remember.

Gladstone House

One of our favourite home away from home’s, the Gladstone House Hotel is preparing for a vibrant Mother’s Day weekend. Fondly Floral Designs will be hosting a floral market inside of Gladstone’s Cassette restaurant, followed by $10 espresso martinis, Mother’s Day mimosas, and live music in a modern and relaxing music-focused ambiance.

Ancient Baths at The Well

If relaxation is top of your list, the long list of treatments and options for a perfect all-encompassing wellness experience happens at Ancient Baths. While bookings are quickly filling, there are many slots still open for Mother’s Day weekend. If you can’t make it to the spa, Ancient Baths is including a Honey Mask in all Mother’s day gift card orders.

The Watering Can

Another peaceful drive just an hour and a half outside of Toronto, you will find floral focused community marketplace The Watering Can, where you will find yourself spending hours selecting goods at the pastry market, testing seasonal drinks in the cafe, or exploring the many floral and plant offerings on the beautiful terrace close to Niagara’s wine county.

So, where will you end up this Mother’s Day?
