Shay Mitchell addressed her relationship with partner Mate Babel on an episode of Call Her Daddy with host, Alex Cooper, recently.
During an episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper recently, Shay admitted that she isn’t really interested in marrying boyfriend Matte Babel soon, as noted here.

As a result, Shay is seemingly happy with how things are going right now. “I love the word partner,” she told Alex on the podcast. “He’s my partner in a lot of things.”
She also gushed about how Matte helps her by stating, “He helps me with so much with my business. Obviously, we’re partners in raising our girls together. He’s my partner in life that we’re living right now, and I like it.”
When talking about the possibility of marriage, Shay had this to say to Alex on the podcast:
“I will never like, never say never about anything,” said Shay, “But I just was never that girl that like, who had a Pinterest board of her wedding. And my parents have been married for like 38, maybe even 40 years, and they’ve had an amazing relationship, but it just wasn’t something that I wanted.”

Shay and Matte have been dating since approximately 2017.

Shay and Matte suffered a miscarriage in 2018 but the duo have since welcomed two daughters together, Atlas Noa, and Rome. Atlas was born in 2019 and Rome was born last year, in 2022.
