“I have been back in LA for a couple weeks now, this is my truck. I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself,” Hammer said.
“I’ve had pick-up trucks for a long time, and I’ve loved this truck intensely. I’ve taken it camping and across country multiple times on road trips,” Hammer continued.
Armie Hammer ‘Can’t Afford’ Gas
“I took it for one last road trip: CarMax. This is not an ad for CarMax, this is because I’m selling my truck. Since being back in LA, I have put around $400 to $500 worth of gas in it and I can’t afford the gas anymore,” Hammer said.
“I mean this truck took the kids home from the hospitals. But you know what, it’s okay. I got a new car, it’s tiny, it’s a hybrid. Here’s to new beginnings,” Hammer continued.
“It’s my birthday tomorrow, so August 28th, and I’ll be starting my birthday with a new car, in a new apartment, in a new life, in Los Angeles,” Hammer said.
Speaking to his truck, Hammer said, “Thank you very much, you have gotten me a long way and I appreciate it all. I hope you take as good of care for the next person.”
Fans took to the comment section of the post to give the actor their best wishes.
One Instagram user wrote, “Miss you Mr. Hammer. I eagerly await your return to the big screen.”
Another user wrote, “I believed a lot of the lies about this guy. After watching a few interviews I realized how wrong I was. Hope you have a major comeback Armie, you deserve it.”
