The ‘Shawmila’ reunion continues outside of Coachella.
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have been spotted on a date night in Los Angeles.
The Daily Mail got some inside information from a source relating the two’s relationship and where they stand as of now. According to the source, the 18-month break led the two to come to realize how ‘special’ their relationship truly was.

The former couple were seen reunited at Coachella. Throughout the night, the couple got extremely up and personal, sharing kisses and holding each other. This news may not seem like a surprise to some due to the footage from the festival.

How Many Years Did Shawn and Camila Date?
Shawmila came to be in 2015. Cabello was still a member of Fifth Harmony when they collaborated on a song called, ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer.’ Right off the bat, the dating rumours were sparked, fans believing that the two were in a possible relationship.

For years, the two singers denied these allegations claiming they were ‘just best friends.’ While some believed that, many others weren’t quite convinced.
Fast forward to 2019, the two confirmed they were in a relationship. They got extremely serious extremely quickly thanks to the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown.
The two dropped the song, ‘Senorita’ which included a flirty music video between the two sealing the deal that they were in fact in a relationship.
In 2021, it was confirmed that the two had called it quits. In a statement given to E News, they had put an end to their romantic relationship but wished to carry on being best friends.
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever, We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”
