Céline Dion cancels her Courage World Tour

Céline Dion‘s Courage World Tour was scheduled in European cities, was cancelled on May 26th, 2023. The “Queen of Power Ballads” announced the tour cancellation news on Twitter. Within the tweet, is a photo of a paper that includes the reasoning for the cancellation. It highlights Dion’s Stiff Person’s Syndrome, in which she is “working hard on her recovery, but at this time is unable to successfully prepare for and perform the remainder of the tour.”

Don’t worry Céline Dion is not giving up! The Canadian singer feels heartbroken as she breaks the news to her fans and tries to assure everyone saying, “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage… I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”

What is Céline Dion‘s health?

Céline Dion opened up last December regarding her Stiff-Person Syndrome. This also caused her to postpone a series of concert dates. She broke the news on Instagram where she discusses her health condition. “I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through,” said Dion. Céline Dion explains in the video that she was only recently diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome and it has been the explanation for all the spasms she’s been having.
