Gordon Ramsay opened up about his terrifying bike crash and near-death experience during an interview with Men’s Health UK.
September 6, 2024- British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay recently revealed horrific details about his near-fatal bike crash in a shoot for Men’s Health UK.

Back in June, Ramsay was involved with a bike accident that left him severely bruised on the side of his ribcage.

“Sound ON and plz Swipe through…..with #FathersDay tomorrow I have very important message for all the dads out there…WEAR A HELMET!” Ramsay wrote on Instagram.
“This week I had a really bad accident while riding my bike in Connecticut. I’m doing ok and did not break any bones or suffer any major injuries but I am a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato,” Ramsay continued.
“I’m thankful for all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lawerence + Memorial Hospital in New London who looked after me and checked me out, but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life. Have a great Father’s Day and be safe Gx,” Ramsay said.
Gordon Ramsay on His Bike Accident
Ramsay revealed to Men’s Health that he was riding his bike and hit a “crater-like pothole” that launched him off of his bike.
Ramsay also revealed that he was so injured that his assistant had to help him get dressed in the morning.
“Justin, he used to dress me in the morning. I felt like a f**cking 95-year-old man. Asking a 30-year-old kid to put my f**cking underpants on was embarrassing,” Ramsay told Men’s Health.

Ramsay’s hit-TV series, “Hell’s Kitchen,” is about to premiere their 23rd season on Fox TV.
