The New Season Of HBO’s ‘We’re Here’ Will Have Priyanka, Jaida Essence Hall And Sasha Velour As The New Hosts!
HBO’s ‘We’re Here’ season four recasts all three hosts for new ‘Drag Race’ queens
HBO’s Emmy award winning reality show ‘We’re Here’ has been renewed for a fourth season, and with this new season will come some fresh faces. It has been announced that ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race’ Queens, Eureka O’Hara, Bob the Drag Queen and Shangela will be replaced by Jaida Essence Hall, Priyanka, and Sasha Velour as the hosts of the show.
One major difference between these queens is that each new host won their respective seasons of ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race‘, whereas only Bob the Drag Queen had won their own season.
Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen and Eureka O’Hara we’re contestants on what’s considered “older” seasons of ‘Drag Race’ while some audiences may be more familiar with these new hosts.
Shangela, Bob the Drag Queen and Eureka O’Hara released a statement on their exit from the show. They said: “We are extremely grateful for the opportunity we had the past three seasons to travel across the country, share our experiences and connect with all of the courageous individuals who entrusted us with their stories. Our journey has inspired hope and sparked important conversations while empowering unique voices and opening new doors. As we move forward with our exciting individual projects, we welcome Sasha Velour, Priyanka and Jaida Essence Hall, and wish them the best on continuing this work during an increasingly difficult time for the LGBTQ+ community.”
Jaida Essence Hall, Sasha Velour and Priyanka also spoke on their upcoming start on the show saying: “We have been so inspired by the stories and important work that has been done over the last three seasons of ‘We’re Here.’ We look forward to continuing this journey throughout the country to uplift voices, spread love and showcase new stories through the art of drag. We thank the entire ‘We’re Here’ team for choosing us to join this life-changing experience.”
