As previously anticipated, Reed’s departure from the show was imminent early in the third season, but the specifics remained undisclosed. However, in the latest episode, Reed’s character, Agent Jamie Kellett, disclosed her decision to leave the Fly Team and transfer to the Washington, D.C. field office.

Kellett revealed to Scott (Luke Kleintank) that following her sister’s tragic suicide, she had made a solemn vow to “live my life for the both of us.” She continued on, stating, “I have served my country, fell in love, I ran away from my grief,” and now feels compelled to “go back home.”

To compensate for Reed’s absence, Christina Wolfe made her debut appearance in last night’s episode as Special Agent Amanda Tate, aiming to fill the void left by Reed’s departure.

While Reed’s exit from “FBI International” may come as a surprise to fans, it opens up new opportunities for the talented actress to explore diverse roles and projects in the future. Her departure serves as a reminder of the ever-evolving nature of television storytelling and the impact of beloved characters on audiences worldwide.
