American hockey player Adam Johnson was killed when he endured a skate to the neck during a game in England late last month between the Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers, noted here. In a harrowing video that has been making its rounds online, the incident was captured and left fans traumatized by what took place on the ice. The game was also abandoned once the incident took place.

Hockey Player Died
Only 29 years old, Johnson suffered a fatal neck injury from a skate after being struck by Sheffield Steelers player Matt Petgrave during the game on Saturday, October 28, 2023. He was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital, noted here.
Johnson’s death is still reportedly being investigated.
