I tried the popular Rhode Peptide Lip Tint. Here’s what I think.
In September, Hailey Bieber expanded her Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment collection to now feature an array of lip tints. According to the Rhode website here, the lip product promises to lock in moisture for plumper and softer lips. It also claims to help restore dry lips.
The ingredient list here highlights the following:
SHEA BUTTER — hydrates + moisturizes with 5 essential fatty acids (including vitamins E, D, A, and allantoin)
PEPTIDES — visibly plump + reduce the look of fine lines
CUPUAÇU — helps maintain skin elasticity, improving suppleness for dry and dehydrated lips
BABASSU — rich, natural source of lauric acid to support the microbiome + replenish overall skin moisture

These lip products quickly became viral online and it seemed like everyone wanted to try them- including myself. As someone who has a huge interest in skin care, her brand quickly grabbed my attention. I was in the market for a new lip product as the ones I have tried recently haven’t impressed me- until Rhode. I decided to try the Rhode Peptide Lip Tints in the shades Toast and Ribbon. Toast leans more on the rosy-taupe side while Ribbon is more of a light, soft-pink shade. Both are stunning!
Results
After just one swipe of the product, I was thoroughly impressed.
My lips felt nourished and I noticed that the product offered a slight pigment of color that wasn’t too overwhelming. The most important part of course was that it didn’t feel sticky or heavy when applied. This product does what it promises to do and I did not feel as though I had to reapply during the day because my lips felt nourished and juicy.
Even after washing my face, my lips feel softer after a day of wear which is exactly what I look for in a hydrating lip product (especially considering I bite and pick my lips). In my honest opinion, I think everyone who is wondering what the lip tints are like should give this product a try. I also think it is a super cute product to pair with the new Rhode phone case so you can keep these hydrating lip products on hand with you always.
