Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are currently separated but are focusing on co-parenting their son and maintaining their business ventures amicably, following their decision to take time apart after facing communication challenges in their relationship.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are currently going through a separation, as confirmed by Jax in an interview at Bravo’s The Valley premiere party. Despite rumors, Jax clarified that their decision to separate was not due to infidelity but rather a lack of communication at the moment. He emphasized that they are focusing on co-parenting their son Cruz and maintaining their business ventures amicably.

The couple, who began dating in 2015 and married in 2019, faced challenges that played out on Vanderpump Rules, eventually welcoming their son Cruz in 2021. Brittany confirmed her move out of their shared home in February, citing unaddressed requests from Jax as one of the reasons. This led to speculation about their separation being a publicity stunt for their new show, The Valley, which they filmed before the separation. Brittany vehemently denied these rumors, stating that she would never exploit her personal life, especially involving her son, for publicity.

Brittany expressed that she decided to address their separation after alleged “Instagram sleuths” noticed her living in a different house. She highlighted the importance of honesty and transparency in her decision-making process. Despite the challenges, Brittany still has strong feelings for Jax but believes she deserves better than their current situation, describing it as a “negative situation” that she’s proud to have removed herself from for the sake of her son’s well-being.

Jax echoed Brittany’s sentiments, emphasizing that they are still on good terms and continue to interact daily due to their shared responsibilities. He acknowledged that relationships go through ups and downs, and they are taking time apart to focus on themselves while maintaining a healthy environment for their son.

The Valley, a spinoff showcasing their suburban life with Cruz, premieres on Bravo on March 19th, followed by streaming on Peacock the next day. Despite their separation, both Jax and Brittany remain committed to co-parenting and navigating their new normal with respect and understanding.

As of right now, the duo are allegedly not getting a divorce.
