Kamar De Los Reyes died on Christmas Eve after a brief battle with cancer.

Kamar de los Reyes died on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles. The actor was battling with cancer. He died at the age of 56. De Los Reyes is survived by his wife, Sherri Saum, their 9-year-old twins, Michael and John and his son Caylen, 26, from his previous relationship.

He was born on November 8, 1967, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In the 80s, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. His breakthrough came in 1994 with the primetime soap Valley of the Dolls, where he played Ray Ariaz. Next year, he starred in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, where he played Antonio Vega till 2009. However, he left the show in 1998 but returned in 2000. It also starred his wife, Sherri Saum, who played the role of Keri Reynolds.

He also voiced the character of Raul Menendez in the video game franchise Call Of Duty. He starred in films like Nixon (1995), The Cell (2000), Mambo Café (2000), Cayo (2005) and Salt (2010).

His recent ongoing project was the series All American. He played the role of Coach Montes from 2022 to 2023. His upcoming projects were Hulu’s not-yet-released Washington Black, starring Sterling K. Brown and Marvel’s upcoming Daredevil series.
