Public Eye Status
Payne has received a lot of grief from fans and media lately. Some believe this is due to his comments made on ‘The Impaulsive Podcast,’ in which he bashed ex-bandmates like Zayn Malik.
Since then, Payne has stated many public apologies to both Malik and his fan base but it seems this offence will take more than a few statements to mend over.

With the talks of a possible One Direction reunion in motion, it’s going to be interesting to see how the Directioners welcome him back.
Although, it seems he and Louis Tomlinson are on good terms since then. Payne was seen at Tomlinson’s documentary premiere just a few weeks ago.
