According to this TikTok video posted by user @mtvuk, Lizzo has reportedly taken to social media to seemingly announce her resignation from the music industry.

In the statement, posted to social media, below, Lizzo claimed that she is tired of being “dragged” by people online and in her life. She also alleged that she is constantly up against “lies” being told about her for “clout & views.”

This news comes as a shock to fans who did not expect Lizzo to resign from the music industry. She also reposted the statement to her social media stories. She ended it off by stating, “I didn’t sign up for this sh*t- I QUIT.”
It is unclear if Lizzo is done for good or just wants to take a break from the industry so we will have to stay tuned and find out.
