August 8, 2024– According to this TikTok video posted by user @snackolator, McDonald’s recently announced that they are dropping a new limited edition Collectors Meal on August 13, 2024. Six new- and very nostalgic- glasses have also been unveiled!

As you can see in the video, explained by the TikToker just like in the past with previous promos, you get a choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece McNuggets, Fries, and a Drink and then you get the cup in a blind bag. Allegedly, you can get this in a breakfast meal as well this time around.
The limited edition cups are all modeled after iconic and nostalgic collectibles, as noted here on the company website.
The first cup style is inspired by McDonald’s characters and features Grimace.
The second cup style is Coca-Cola-inspired, featuring multiple themes from the past few decades.
The third cup style is Universal-themed with Shrek, Jurassic Park, Minions, etc.
The fourth cup style features Hello Kitty and Snoopy.
The fifth cup style includes Barbies and Hot Wheels on the other, which is seemingly inspired by Happy Meal toys.
The sixth cup style features Beanie Babies.
There is also a Collectors Meal Bag as well. The Drink cup from the meal comes with a matching pattern.
McDonalds Collectors Meal Canada
McDonald’s in Canada is reportedly getting a different set of glasses, which are all clear and do not feature colored imagery. The cups come in embossed glass or Tritan plastic, so- based on initial imagery- it is likely to assume that the Canadian cups are the glass version. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed.
