Michelle Obama Talks Divorce and Freedom on New Podcast
Former First Lady Michelle Obama and her brother, Craig Robinson, team up for a new podcast called IMO.
Heads up because Michelle Obama is releasing her new podcast, IMO, today!
The former First Lady is teaming up with her brother, Craig Robinson, the executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, to talk all about life. They will discuss a variety of topics but will steer clear of current affairs and politics, revealed The New York Times.
Other topics are on the discussion table, however, such as divorce and freedom, with the pair opening up about Robinson’s divorce in 2000. In 2006, the former basketball coach remarried Kelly McCrum Robinson.
As The New York Times revealed, Michelle might even reveal information about the state of her own marriage. Recently, the Obamas have been subjected to wild rumors about their potential split. While neither wife nor husband has confirmed anything, these speculations continue to grow as Michelle and Barack Obama have appeared at multiple social events without each other.
While it is uncertain what information Michelle will share about her marriage, she has revealed that she will be sharing other personal stories. One such story concerns Michelle and Robinson’s tough upbringing in Chicago.
Life Advice and Celebrity Guests
In an Instagram post, Michelle gives further details about the contents of the IMO podcast. Michelle and Robinson will give life advice based on their own varied experiences and may invite celebrity guests in future episodes.
“We can’t wait for you to listen to the @IMOpodcasts! Every week, Craig and I will be joined by a special guest as we try to grapple with life’s biggest questions.”
As popular as Michelle Obama has been over the years, both during and after her time as First Lady, it will not be surprising to see many tune in to listen to the former First Lady and her brother.
