What has happened to Naomi Osaka?
The Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka welcomed her first child. Osaka and boyfriend Cordae had their baby girl born in Los Angeles. The name has not been revealed yet, but Osaka told People earlier this year saying, “I would say that we are going for something more unique than traditional.”
On June 3rd, Osaka revealed that she will be having a female on Instagram. “A little princess is on the way!” a sign wrote in the picture she posted. Photos she posted on Instagram revealed a princess-themed baby shower. The tennis player was surrounded by pink and purple balloons as she was styled in sporty streetwear attire. Osaka wore white cargo pants and a Burberry cropped jersey top, revealing her baby bump. She accessorized with some simple silver jewelry and a white cap in a high ponytail as she rests her arm on a large pink mushroom.

The four-time winning Gram slam player broke the news about the baby after withdrawing from the 2023 Australian Open in January. Osaka posted on Instagram a photo of her ultrasound with clear outlines of her baby in the ultrasound. She captioned it, “Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023.” Within the carousel she posted was a note on her phone. She specifically wrote, “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.” So don’t worry, Osaka will have her come back soon!
