Paris Fashion Week has been cleared to do in-person shows and presentations for men’s clothes in June, as restrictions begin to lift in France, Women’s Wear Daily reports. Men’s shows are scheduled to take place between June 22 and 27, with a more detailed official calendar to be released at the end of this month. The shows will debut men’s collections for Spring 2022.

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the organizing body behind French fashion and Paris Fashion Week prepared a digital platform for runways to be moved online considering the pandemic. The Fédération will use the platform to continue to showcase any live or recorded presentations from Fashion Week online.

Haute Couture week in Paris has also been given the go ahead for physical shows, and is slated to run shortly after Paris Fashion Week, from July 5 to 8.

Paris fashion trade show Tranoï announced on Tuesday that it would partner with the Fédération and Paris Fashion Week to create a fashion trade show to run concurrently with Paris Men’s Fashion Week in late June and showcase the collections of international designers.

These announcements come after the COVID-19 pandemic caused several runways shows the world over to be cancelled, postponed, or moved online throughout the last year.

The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has also said it is planning to include physical events as well as digital shows in its men’s fashion week in Milan, as restrictions in Italy also gradually lift. Milan Fashion Week Men’s Collection is scheduled to run from June 18 to 22.
