Yesterday, June 30th, was the 2023 Princess Diana Awards Ceremony. The event recognizes young activists and their impact on their communities in honor of the late Diana, Princess of Wales and her personal devotion to advocacy. With the alleged rocky state of their relationship, people were surprised that both of Princess Diana’s sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, were both in attendance. Yes their appearance was a surprise, but the state in which they appeared was baffling. They were there, but they weren’t together. They both attended separately and virtually. Both of the princes sent in two separate videos congratulating the recipients.

Both William and Harry shared separate personal statements during the ceremony and on The Diana Award’s instagram.

Prince Harry had the task of introducing the recipients. While Prince William helped open the ceremony. They did not reference each other once; choosing only to speak on the award recipients and their late mother Diana.

Regardless, they both seem dedicated to this program and the charities they support. It makes sense that the person to bring these two brothers together, despite the bad blood, would be Princess Diana.
