As reported by Just Jared, even Chris Martin is anticipating Rihanna’s Super Bowl half-time performance. The Coldplay vocalist has expressed his opinion that “it is rare for her to just sing, which makes it even more special” and also made a further comment about how “you have to be an idiot not to recognize that she’s the best singer of all time.” Rihanna and Chris Martin once collaborated on a 2012 music video, Princess of China, which was filmed in Los Angeles.

Chris Martin Already Praised Rihanna Before

Years before making his statement about Rihanna’s upcoming performance at the Super Bowl half-time, Chris Martin called Rihanna “the Frank Sinatra of our generation” in a 2016 interview and went as far as claiming that she “could turn anything to gold with that voice” because her thick tone “is like a beautifully squeezed tube of toothpaste.”

As noted by MSN, Chris Martin is not the only media persona who gets obsessed with Rihanna and looks forward to the promised performance at Super Bowl LVII this Sunday, February 12th. The pop star is also a favorite of H.E.R., who has said that she would love to hear Rihanna sings ‘Umbrella’, ‘We Found Love’, and ‘Love On the Brain’, all of which are smash hits.
