According to this TikTok video posted by user @laurenisgossip, SKIMS is allegedly in hot water after dropping a new collection with Swarovski that features an alleged dupe of the Marilyn Monroe dress Kim Kardashian famously donned on the Met Gala red carpet.

Fans were, however, quick to notice that one of the most popular pieces from the collection- a beige figure-hugging dress- looked similar to Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday Mr. President Dress” that founder Kardashian famously wore to the Met Gala one year.
The long slip dress with Swarovski crystals on it comes in two other colors but the TikToker claims that this “dupe” claim is simply a “stretch” because it’s a revamped version of one of the brand’s most popular styles.
