Apparently we’re in our own multiverse, because there are different versions of ‘Spiderman: Across The Spider-Verse’ in theaters right now. Yes, it’s true! After the movie’s third week in theaters fans began to notice differences in certain scenes. Twitter user Chisei (@balisonqs) posted this tweet showing a side-by-side of a scene with one of those differences and it got quite a bit of attention.

The associate editor on the film, Andrew Leviton, confirmed in his own tweet that this is indeed true and it is not by mistake.

Once it was confirmed fans took to the screen to analyze whatever differences they could find. Reddit user @Hohoho-you posted a list of what’s been found so far.

According to Deadline, ‘Spiderman: Across The Spider-Verse’ has made over half-a-million dollars so far. That’s $100,000 more than its predecessor, ‘Spiderman: Into The Spider-Verse’, in just three weeks and with new films entering the box-office to compete! Right now we know there are at least two versions of the film in theaters, but there could be more.
