Amber Heard Attends Film Festival For Her New Movie.

Amber Heard makes her first, official, appearance one year after her major loss in the defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. Last Friday Amber Heard stepped out to attend the 69th Annual Taormina Film Festival in Italy to promote her new film ‘In the Fire’. This comes just one month after Johnny Depp opened the Cannes film festival with his new film ‘Jeanne du Barry’ where he spoke about the state of his career “Do I feel boycotted now? No, not at all. But I don’t feel boycotted by Hollywood because I don’t think about it. I don’t think about Hollywood. I don’t have much further need for Hollywood myself, I keep wondering about the word comeback because I didn’t go anywhere. As a matter of fact, I live about 45 minutes away”.

In Heard’s new film, according to IMDB, she plays Grace Burnham, a doctor from New York who travels to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a disturbed boy who seems to have inexplicable “demonic” abilities. Below is the first official clip.

Heard seems ecstatic about her return to the silver screen. She chose not to speak on the state of her career as a whole, but with this film, she’s nothing but smiles.
