  • The attendance / venue records were collected from the various websites and social media channels of the venues and its associated pages while the concert film gross was found on IMDb
  • For the social media data, different variations of hashtags referring to The Eras tour were collected and their occurrence was combined to get to the final numbers mentioned – the full list of hashtags analyzed: theerastour, erastour, tserastour, erastourts, erastourtaylorswift, theerastourtaylorswift, tstheerastour, taylorswifterastour, taylorswifttheerastour
  • When it comes to the GDP estimates, these figures were collected and summed up from various sources across countries that The Eras Tour has visited, which can be found in its entirety here; having said that, while the summing up of the different reports resulted in the figure of estimated economic impact between $8–9 billion globally, this figure may differ in reality due to factors like varying methodologies in calculating GDP contributions, and the challenge of isolating direct versus indirect spending impacts, as well as potential under/overestimations of ripple effects across sectors
  • At times, Swift broke multiple venue records at once (headlining one, two and three shows for example), which is why some venues appear on multiple occasions
