The show is mainly centered on Belly’s attendance to the Debutante Ball in which she is celebrated from transitioning from a child to a young adult. This marina is where Conrad gives Cleveland sailing lessons and in return Cleveland acts as a father and mentor figure to Conrad. Cleveland helps Conrad navigate his emotions and mental health troubles. The Cape Fear Marina is a working marina and visitors can enjoy the various amenities provided such as wifi, social areas, a bath house, and a dog park!

Although the famed Cousins Beach is not a real beach, fans of the show can visit Carolina Beach to experience an eventful summer vacation just like Belly.
