Tom Holland appeared in a recent video clip announcing the latest Spider-Man project. Titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Holland describes the film as a ”fresh start.”
Set to be released on July 31, 2026, the film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who announced its production at CinemaCon. Specifically, Cretton said he has always liked the character’s “humor” and “messy humanity.” In addition, he also promises audiences an exciting new adventure for Peter Parker, stating that the film is “a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”

Cretton has previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings for Marvel. While not a household name like other Marvel properties, the film is a unique addition to its canon. Moreover, it does help that the film was well received by both audiences and critics.
