Zac Efron Hospitalized After A Swimming Incident In Ibiza

August 4th, 2024 – Actor Zac Efron was hospitalized in Ibiza after a swimming accident.

Zac Efron is recovering in hospital after a swimming accident in Ibiza. The actor was taken to a hospital on the night of August 2nd for precautionary measures. Reports say two workers at the villa Efron was at had to pull him out of the pool. No other information has been shared about the incident so far. However, Efron’s reps say he is doing okay and was alert on the morning of August 3rd.

In November 2013, Efron had a severe medical incident that resulted in long-term effects. The actor fell and hit his face on the edge of a fountain while running through his home in socks. The fall knocked him unconscious. When Efron woke up, he said his jawbone was “hanging off his face.”. He then had to go through lots of physical therapy. He also eventually had to get facial reconstruction surgery. He became unrecognizable to many fans, but Efron wasn’t fazed by the comments others made. When Efron finally commented on his new look, he had a very nonchalant response. Zac told Men’s Health, “If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do, I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this work.”. (here)
