Why is Jeff Jackson allegedly being “canceled?” HOLR breaks down the claims.

According to this TikTok video posted by user @noahglenncarter, Jeff Jackson is a representative who is pretty big on TikTok. He is allegedly being “canceled” for reportedly voting “yes” on the TikTok ban.

As noted in the video, Jackson used the TikTok platform to boost his political career and campaign for himself. When it came time to vote on whether or not to ban TikTok in the US, Jackson allegedly voted “yes” which sparked controversy amongst others.

Jackson also posted a video explaining himself after he seemingly received backlash. This video was reportedly not received well by others online. Many people are allegedly upset with Jackson. Jackson reportedly “attacked” TikTok in the video, for seemingly urging its users to try and reach out to stop the TikTok shutdown.

Jackson took to the comment section of his video to try to alleviate concern, but users were not having it. Other users asked why banning TikTok was a priority while “serious” issues, such as housing and grocery prices, have allegedly not been addressed.

There are also questions regarding why other social media websites are not being targeted as TikTok as been.

What are your thoughts on these alleged claims?
