Austin North, one of the stars of Outer Banks, has been arrested. HOLR breaks it down.

According to this TikTok video posted by user @mariahkat, Austin North was allegedly arrested for attacking ER staff on Tuesday in Las Vegas.

In this related article by TMZ, cops alleged that Austin went wild in a hospital in Las Vegas earlier this week in which he reportedly attacked several emergency room staffers. He also allegedly had to be restrained. Supposedly, the cops were dispatched to the hospital in regards to reports of an assault and battery that had occurred, allegedly in the ER.

North reportedly took to his social media here to address the viral situation as outlined in the TikTok video, above.

According to North, his friend drove him to the hospital because he thought he was having a heart attack. Allegedly, several tests were taken upon arrival which came back negative for drugs or alcohol in his body- however, he was reportedly having a severe anxiety attack.

North claims that he has “very little memory” of the events that took place that day at the hospital but that he has the “utmost respect” for healthcare workers and hospital staff.

Allegedly, North has battled anxiety on and off for years and this was the most extreme panic attack he ever had. Going forward, he wishes to shed light on this “debilitating disorder” and sends hope to those struggling, as well.
