Dua Lipa made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend Romain Gavras at the Cannes Film Festival this Friday. In their first public appearance together, the “Don’t Start Now” hitmaker can be seen snuggled up to her French director boyfriend.
Lipa chose a stylish one-shoulder Hedi Slimane for Celine’s black asymmetrical dress with cutouts and a high-leg slit. She accessorised the elegant ensemble simply with a pair of strappy heels and lengthy fringe that covered over half of the singer’s face. Gavras, on the other hand, stayed conventional in a black suit, pristine white shirt, and black tie.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Lipa and Gavras were first connected in February after they left a party together in London. Later the same month at Paris Fashion Week, the couple was spotted holding hands.
The duo had allegedly been “quietly getting to know each other for months” since her breakup with Anwar Hadid, according to insiders in March.
