National Lipstick Day is the time to have my current list of favourites shine.
From timeless options like Revlon, or booming cult-favourites like Refy, the lip game comes with a lot of options for a matte, liner, shine, whatever your moment calls for.

1. DIOR ADDICT HYDRATING SHINE LIPSTICK
This soft-glide application is meant for an easy go-to when you don’t want to worry about mess or inconsistencies with bold and rich shades. Dior Addict lipstick line is all iconic colours in over 40 shades. Number 008 is my perfect pop of colour for an on-the-go day to night look.
2. QUO BEAUTY PEPTIDE LIP TINT
I find myself replacing other lipglosses with this peptide liptint that also compliments my brown liners effortlessly. With a long wear formula that stays in place and gives a genuine tint, the real differentiation of this gloss is a peptide treatment that is lightweight enough for everyday use. Being a winner at the 2025 Global Green Beauty Awards is no surprise.
3. REVLON SUPER LUSTROUS GLASS SHINE LIPSTICK

Revlon through timeless in its brand and dedication to crafting the perfect lipstick, still pushes the boundaries for modern ingredients made to constantly improve the lipstick that came before. With Teyana Taylor leading the line alongside Revlon, Shade rum raisin has been my tried and true for a lip moment that is bold and laidback all in one, offering the perfect off-duty yet still glam option. This rich purple/mahogany shade makes a simple look feel intentional.
4. MERIT SIGNATURE LIGHTWEIGHT LIPSTICK
It has become increasingly harder to come by a silky matte lipstick. Formulas can feel either too dry or inconsistent. Merit merges the beauty of a finished matte look with a buildable formula highlighting smoothing vitamin C, and plant-derived squalene.
5. REFY LIP BLUSH
REFY, who is also having it’s summer sale, is my hero brand for trusted formulas that feel barely there, and with the perfect shades and seamless, mininalist packaging. While I first became hooked on the lip liner, the Refy lip blush is a smooth and long-lasting option with a chunky, easy-blur stick that feels like the perfect upgrade to your everyday lippie.
