Gucci has announced their new global brand ambassador Jun Shison, a Japanese actor in films, television and stage productions.

This new announcement for Gucci does not come as a surprise, Jun has been making his mark on the international film stage since starting in 2011. In the announcement, Gucci started “known for his self-expression and social engagement was appointed as the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador.” This is something that is a known characteristic that Gucci looks for in their brand ambassadors. Whether global or just campaign based Gucci is a worldwide brand that looks for inspiring people to represent the brand in the best possible way.

Gucci has had a creative track record when it comes to who represents them as a company, from film stars like Dakota Johnson and Jared Leto heading their Aqua di Fiora perfume collections, to superstar Harry Style representing their tailored collection, Gucci does not miss.

Jun Shison is better known for his roles in the TV series, Hanbun Aoi and the movie, The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window. Gucci has clearly appointed Jun because of his self-expression and it is clear that Jun is the one to watch as he has released 3 films in 2021 alone.

Alongside this decision, Gucci has appointed recently 2 Korean stars as brand ambassadors as well. Shin Min-A is known for her role in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Lee Jung-Jae is known for his role in the popular Netflix series Squid Game. With Gucci announcing a new brand ambassador every few months, it keeps the brand up-to-date and relevant, exactly like how they described Jun Shison, as someone with well social engagement.
