The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024’s opening ceremony is scheduled for March 22 at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium. Anticipation is high as the star-studded event, featuring performances by Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, AR Rahman, and Sonu Nigam, is poised to captivate the city.

The highly anticipated star-studded opening ceremony gains attention as the official IPL account on X reveals the lineup via Twitter.  The page twitting –   “The stage is set, the lights are bright, and the stars are ready to shine at the TATA IPL 2024 opening ceremony! Get ready for an unforgettable fusion of cricket and entertainment ft. a stellar lineup! 22nd March, 6:30 pm onwards.”

Who Is Performing at IPL Opening Ceremony

Leading the pack of performers is none other than the Khiladi of Bollywood himself, Akshay Kumar. Known for his electrifying presence and dynamic performances, Akshay is set to kickstart the ceremony with his signature style, setting the stage on fire and setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Joining Akshay Kumar on stage will be the exceptionally talented Tiger Shroff, whose impeccable dance moves and high-octane performances are sure to leave the audience spellbound. Akshay and Tiger Collaboration

Akshay and Tiger are collaborating on “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie boasts a stellar cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Ronit Bose Roy. Co-penned by Aditya Basu, the film is slated for release on April 10. Meanwhile, Rahman has lent his musical prowess to “Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life,” “Amar Singh Chamkila,” and “Maidaan,” all awaiting release, and has been enlisted for Ram Charan’s forthcoming venture alongside Janhvi Kapoor.
