Former Yeezy and Donda Academy Student Accuses West of Numerous Allegations

Kanye West has allegedly been sued by a former Yeezy and Donda Academy student, who claims that West threatened to “cage” students, as noted here.

On April 2, Trevor Phillips (former Yeezy and Donda Academy student) filed a lawsuit against West for numerous eruptive behaviors. Some of the acts include being sexually aroused in front of Phillips while at Nobu.

These behaviors seemingly came as no surprise to many as West has had many aggressive outbursts and made triggering comments in the past. As outlined by various other outlets including NBC NewsRolling Stone, and Consequence, Phillips alleges that West told students that he wanted to shave their heads and lock them in cages. He also claims that the rapper frequently praised Hitler, and even allegedly compared himself to the Nazi leader.

Donda Academy is an unaccredited Christian private school for pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, located in Simi Valley, California, United States. It was founded in 2022 by American rapper Kanye West.

The school is named after his late mother and provides Balenciaga uniforms.

Donda Academy claims to be able to provide its students with a world-class education including its “rigorous core curriculum, and an emphasis on sustainability, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.” (here)

With a tuition of  $15,000, the school notified parents that it had canceled the remainder of the 2022–23 school year and would reopen at the beginning of the 2023–24 school year.

Representatives for Ye and attorneys for Donda Academy have allegedly not yet publicly responded to requests for comment.
